Ancient Greek Sandals Covid-19 Commitment

We have always eschewed a strong commitment to our home country, the one that has provided us not only with our homes and our colleagues, but also endless inspiration and joy. We are honoured to be partnering with the nonprofit organisation DESMOS during this difficult time, to bring a little relief to our healthcare system here in Greece.

Starting April 27th, we are donating 10% of the value of every pair of sandals purchased to DESMOS, to help provide health and medical supplies in the fight against Covid-19.

DESMOS are collecting and distributing funds to organisations such as the Centres for Social Care throughout Greece, and to hospice services. These hospices provide for high-risk groups such as the homeless, elderly people, those who are severely disabled, suffer from chronic illness, and at-risk children.

These funds are 100% transparent, so we are pleased to guarantee the money will be spent on medical equipment such as personal protective equipment for doctors and nurses, nebulisers and oxygen concentrators, and cleaning supplies such as disinfectants and bleach for the thousands of people in Greece that are currently defenceless.
