Ancient Greek Sandals X Lucy Folk

Continuing our special series of summer collaborations, we are thrilled to bring you Ancient Greek Sandals x Lucy Folk.

Our affinity for Bondi-based Lucy Folk stems from our founders’ shared love of travel, nomadic approach to life and design, and commitment to artisinal craft. Lucy’s travels in search of inspiration have taken her from Tangiers to Tuscany, and latterly to Morocco where the concept for this collaboration was born.

Our founder Christina Martini says “I am really fond of Lucy’s approach to fashion. Using local craftsmen to make the details of her clothes, crochet jewels and accessories, she has a very personal style and it was fun collaborating with her.”

We at Ancient Greek Sandals pride ourselves on our use of ancient craftsmanship skills in crafting our sandals, so a colloration with Lucy felt natural and organic. Lucy Folk’s jewellery is hammered using age-old techniques, which leant itself perfectly to peppering our signature shapes with gold coins, intricate stud work and delicate metals.

Continuing this alchemic approach, the sole of each shoe has been hot stamped with the four elements of nature - Earth, Wind, Fire, Water. Such intimate details make these pieces uniquely special, and a one-off collaboration not to be missed.

Available in four styles, each embellished sandal is designed to work for city stomping, outdoor-dwelling, and ocean strolling.
