Lucy Williams Capsule Collection For Ancient Greek Sandals

Ancient Greek Sandals has collaborated with Lucy Williams, the UK-based influencer and longtime brand fan on a capsule collection of sandals, bags, and accessories for High-Summer 23’. The collaboration was a natural progression as Lucy shares a love of Greece, travel and has remained a loyal of Ancient Greek Sandals & their classic, cool take on summer dressing since their inception in 2012.

The joyful collaboration brings playful elements from Lucy’s sophisticated yet relaxed and effortless style to create a collection of fun yet timeless and feminine summer staples. Christina Martini, co-founder and Creative Director of Ancient Greek Sandals and Lucy Williams worked very closely together to bring the ideas to life.

“My love affair with Greece has been a long-standing one. Starting from when I first swam with turtles off the coast of Zakynthos aged 17 to getting married on Andros last summer, nothing says summer and joy to me like Greece. I’ve long been a fan of Ancient Greek’s classic, cool take on summer sandals and love that they last year after year and just get better with age and wear. I love the ritual of digging out my favorite pair each summer ahead of escaping the city for island life.” – Lucy Williams

The collection features ten designs including six sandal styles, three bag styles and a crochet bucket hat. Taking some of Ancient Greek Sandals classic styles and merging them with new constructions that have been developed using new techniques.

 “For our collaboration, I wanted to create the perfect capsule accessory collection for that carefree summer we all daydream about. The kind of comfortable, relaxed pieces I live in on holiday for flitting between the beach and tavernas on our rental scooter, but that also slip seamlessly into my wardrobe and life back home. I love that I got to play with two of my favorite things for the bags and hats too: color and stripes. I had to include shades of blue because nothing says Greece to me like azure blue and hot pink is eternally one of my favorite colors to wear in the summer, especially with tan and chocolate brown accents.” - Lucy Williams
