View Full Product DetailsAncient Greek Sandals’ Archaic slide was inspired by a palmetted marble artifact by the Athenian sculptor Philourgos, found within the Cycladic Museum in Athens. This palmetted motif decorates the edges of the leather uppers which have been mixed with little holes and subtle golden studs.

Ancient Greek Sandals are handmade locally by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques that have existed for centuries.
Stitching is used delicately when necessary. A variety of techniques are used throughout the collection to decorate the uppers, such as hot stamps, lacing, cut-outs, printing, braiding, beading and embossing.
The champagne coloured wing-design buckle is a brand trademark and refers back to the myth of the gifted sandal maker that made the sandals for the Ancient Greek Gods as well as Hermes the messenger god who wore winged sandals.
