Ancient Greek Sandals are handmade locally by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques that have existed for centuries.
Created as the centrepiece of a table, or to hold fruit, this basket has a ‘barely-there’ construction, allowing the basket’s contents to be seen clearly through the leather straps. Horizontal leather straps are woven through wider vertical straps, reminiscent of classic sandal styles. This versatile basket also works well as cashe pot for plants, within a closet for storing smaller accessories like socks, or knitting wool.
